Holy Macro!

Hi loveys! I am sooo elated that the weather is starting to get warmer here in Canada. I think spring may have finally sprung *knock on wood.* For us Canadians, the weather can be quite unpredictable at times, some years we’re making snow angels and snowmen at the end of May!! Gasp! For now, I will bask in the beautiful sun and enjoy the workings of Mother Nature.

I wanted to take advantage of the glorious sunshine, so I decided to scout places in my favourite little town where I do most of my shoots. I love old run down houses, as per previous posts you may have seen. The siding of one particular house was a beautiful turquoise colour so I knew it would make a great backdrop for my outfit du jour!

Alright so the jumpsuit and shirt were both purchased online and only $200!!!! I bought the jumpsuit from mango.com  and the top from Zara.com. I had never purchased anything from Mango before so I was a bit apprehensive about ordering from them as I wasn’t sure how their sizes would fit me. I’ve been searching for a super cute jumpsuit for quite sometime and wanted something shifty, comfortable and eye-catching. I was sold on the bows and wide leg!! Did I mention the uber cute macro eyelet detail on the bib?!? I paired the jumpsuit with a puffy sleeve blouse. I love this trend because of its romantic feel–you can take an outfit to new levels with a bell sleeve shirt, instant ethereal goddess!

Ok so now to the statement piece I have on my arm. I got this sweet baby in Vancouver a few years ago at one of the boutiques downtown. I use my Versace when I want to add a pop of colour to my outfit. I thought I would play with the macro motif going on (eyelets, wide-legs) so I knew the bag and its size would make for a great add-on. Lastly the shoes, I got my sandals from lechateau.com. Two strap sandals are everywhere now it seems. I love them because of they’re simple yet elegant look. When I don’t know what shoe to wear, I always resort to these babies!

Well I hope you enjoyed this post and my enthusiasm for spring, yaaaay!!!

We’ll see you next time 🙂

xoxo

Jer
